Shell & Coles Express have long maintained an active program of monetising instore media. The problem was the media rates being used were old and the values had never been benchmarked or reviewed.
Sonder were engaged to ‘run the ruler’ over Coles Express media rates and highlight where rates were undervalued and, in some cases, overvalued. Benchmarking media rates has enabled Coles Express to harmonise with Coles Supermarkets rates and adopt more accurate, independently valued media.
